HELLO!

I'm Guncha, an Indian illustrator and surface pattern designer, living in Singapore with my husband and our lovely son.
My journey to being an illustrator has been pretty interesting. I've worn many hats in my career from being a software engineer to an MBA graduate, working as a marketing consultant and then later stepping into the world of freelancing and art. phew!

I've always been passionate about art in any form but my inner artist aroused when I started getting illustration jobs while freelancing in the world of digital marketing. I then discovered a different side of myself and realised how art and designs bring a contented version of me. I totally enjoy creating cute, bold and vibrant designs that appeal to both children and adults alike.
As much as creating digital work, I always take some time out to do sketching and watercoloring. It brings an inner peace and satisfaction and I am more connected to nature and surroundings. I have definitely become a lot more observant person now.

For the past 6 years, I have been illustrating and designing beautiful work for my lovely clients.
